Share tests with your team

Project settings and test definitions are saved as files. If you create echo-test/ in the target service's repository and manage it with Git, your team can review and share changes to tests.

Shared files

File / folder Contents
project.yaml Project settings such as the target URL, account names, and references
cases/ Definitions of recorded actions and checks
tests/ Tests that combine multiple actions and checks
files/ Files uploaded by tests

Run results, recordings, screenshots, and traces are not saved in the project. They are saved in the app settings area on each PC. Login states and secrets are also saved on each PC, so they are not included when you share the project. For details, see Data storage location.

Open a project in a repository

Choose Open Repository… on the welcome screen and select the target service's repository. If the repository already has echo-test/, it opens. If there is no project yet, you can create one by entering the target URL. If multiple projects are found in a monorepo, choose the one you want.

Login states on each PC are not shared. Each team member logs in to the accounts they need on their own PC. → Setting up multiple accounts
