Create tests by recording
Record a new test
Choose + Create Test → ⏺ Create by Recording at the top of the screen. If you have registered named accounts, choose the account to record with. If its login state hasn't been saved, you are asked to log in before recording.
On the recording screen, operate the browser. In action recording mode, clicks and input become steps. To also check that an element on the screen is visible, switch to Add Check and click the target. In this mode, the page doesn't navigate, and an "is visible" check is added.
When you're done, choose Stop Recording and Save…, specify a name and type, and save. The type is either Test, which runs to the end, or State, which later tests build on.
Record from the middle
To reuse a common state such as being logged in, open that row in the list and choose ⏺ Record from Here in its details. echo replays the actions up to that row, and then you can record what comes next. The saved actions are added under the original row in the list.
Edit what you recorded
You can edit the name and steps in the row's details. If a run fails, you can also have AI suggest a fix from the result screen.
