Test with multiple accounts

An account represents "who the test runs as." You register a display name, role, and so on, and the login state for each account is saved on this PC. Passwords are not saved.

Register an account

Open Accounts at the bottom of the screen and choose + Add. Enter a display name, set an ID and notes if needed, and save. Use a name that identifies the role or tenant, such as "Admin (tenant-a)".

You can save the login state from Log In First… in the account list. You can also log in for the first time when a test runs. For how to log in, see Test services that require login.

Assign accounts to tests

In a tree of recorded operations, choose the account with Run As in the details of the root row. The operations below it inherit that account. To build a separate operation tree for each role, assign an account to each root.

Tests created with AI can also include flows that use multiple accounts. Include who does what in your request, for example "Check, as a regular user, the information the admin shared."

The project settings store only the definitions, such as account names and roles. Login states are saved on each PC and are not shared when you share the project.
